Eric W. Wallace

Leadership in Systems & Software Development

If I were a superhero 🦸🏼‍♂️ my name would be “Captain Efficiency”: I love finding the most direct, simple, and effective path to solving problems.

At the age of 12, I started teaching myself computer programming, because even then I recognized how I could use my love for learning, strategy, and creativity to build things that make the world just a tiny bit better.

Since then, I have:

  • helped over 4 million StackOverflow users with my answers to their coding questions (in the top 2% of contributors)
  • learned over a dozen programming languages
  • built critical medical records systems used round-the-clock by 27,000 doctors, nurses, and hospital staff
  • swapped out backend components in web apps with millions of users
  • coded inventory management and constructed security systems for defense contractors
  • completed a Masters in Computer Science with a 4.0 GPA even while I lacked the prerequisite undergrad background
  • led system implementations and teams of software developers, analysts, and DevOps engineers

But don’t just take my word for it; here are a few things others have said about me:

  • “A unique blend of technical acumen and people skills.”
  • “People trust Eric because he demonstrates respect, integrity, and competence.”
  • “Eric is skilled at defining a problem clearly, identifying alternatives, and seeking out the best result possible.”
